The Pack

The Pack is the official name for the fans of the Joondalup Wolves.

The famous saying “the strength of the pack is in the Wolf and the strength of the Wolf is in the Pack” is cited as the foundation for the fan base being known as The Pack. Men’s SBL Head Coach Mick Downer coined the term “Wolfpack” in 2009 as a way to refer to the fans and players belonging to a big family and sharing a common goal. This was then shortened to “The Pack” in 2021 when the Wolves joined the NBL1 and fans signed up in record numbers to become Reserved Seat Members. The Membership slogan was “Run with The Pack” and has now become a colloquial term for all Wolfpack fans.
Members of The Pack are known for their unwavering support of the Wolves. They are a huge reason why the Wolves have one of the best crowds and best home court advantages in the league.

BLEED GREEN – Is a saying that The Pack use to show that the blood running through their veins is green, meaning they were born to support the Wolves.
GREEN HEART – The Green Heart is used to symbolise where our fans allegiance lies and highlight their true love of everything Wolfpack. It ties to the green blood theme as their heart pumps green blood around their body.
RAISED BY WOLVES – Only true Wolves fans proclaim to be raised by Wolves. Wolves fans consider the saying to mean they were raised in a pack and taught to hunt in groups, which is exactly what the Wolfpack does each game. The player introductions of every home game begin with the song by Big Sean ft. Post Malone “Wolves”.
BIG BAD WOLF – The Big Bad Wolf theme song is played at the end of the game every time the Wolves win.
