WOLVES VS GIANTS – THE PACK STANDS TALL!

Join the Meneghello Industrial Group City of Joondalup Wolves as they take on the Goldfields Giants on Van Kailis Court!

VENUE: Arena Joondalup

GAME TIMES: Women Tip Off – 11:00am

                          Men Tip Off – 1:00pm

DOORS OPEN: 10:00am

NO TICKET, NO ENTRY – Staff will be scanning all tickets upon entry into the stadium.

GRANDSTAND AND BALCONY TICKET HOLDERS: Entry is via the Upper Spine. When you enter the main foyer of Arena Joondalup, please follow the signs and use the stairs to head up to the first floor. Turn right to head to the security/bag check area, before getting your tickets scanned at the entry. There is an elevator if needed.

GREENZONE AND CORPORATE BOX HOLDERS: Entry is via the lower spine (ground floor). When you enter the main foyer of Arena Joondalup, please turn right to head to the basketball courts. There will be a security/bag check and ticket scanning area before entering.

Please do not hesitate to speak to our staff if you need assistance finding your seat.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. The Box Office is located in the Arena Joondalup foyer.  

Parking:

  • There is free parking available at Arena Joondalup.
  • Parking may be limited. To ensure you do not miss any of the action, arrive early to secure easy parking.

Food & Beverage:

  • The Sports Bar Café is located in the upstairs Suite, behind the Western Grandstand.
  • The Sports Bar Café will be open from 10:00am for coffee, hot chips, burgers, and range of snacks and refreshments.
  • Have some pre-game drinks in our Wolves Den Bar which will be open for service at 10:00am.
  • There will also be a Pop-Up Bar by the Eastern Grandstand where you can purchase our Wolves Draught and other drinks, open from 10:00am.  

Merchandise:

  • Come dressed Bleeding Green or purchase some great Wolfpack Wear on the night from our Merchandise stand.
  • The Merchandise stand will be open for sales from 10:00am or visit our online Wolfpack Wear shop to purchase your gear before the game.

    • On The Border T-Shirt Burritos – 3 qtr. time of the Women’s game
    • Rebel Sport 24 Second Challenge – 3 qtr. time of the Men’s game

  • Wolfpack mascot “Wally the Wolf” will be at the game to get you cheering and is available for photos.
  • After the Women’s game, our players will be upstairs in the Wolves Den and available for photos and autographs – just walk up to them to meet your favourite Wolves player.
  • After the Men’s game, our players will be on court and available for photos and autographs – just walk onto the court to meet your favourite Wolves player.

Post-Game:

  • Post Game Party on court. Meet the players, get autographs and photos, meet Wally the Wolf and Neil Barnard, all while DJ Chris Sweets is on the decks.
  • After the Post Game Party, head upstairs to the Wolves Den Bar for a drink and to socialise with the players.
  • Our game MVP will be presented, and short speeches will be made.
    • Women: during half-time of the Men’s game
    • Men: approximately 20 minutes after the game
  • Coaches Press Conference
    • Tune in to our Wolfpack Facebook page to hear from our coaches and players.
    • Live on Facebook approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game

Disclaimers:

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  1. Patrons are not permitted to bring any basketballs into the venue.
  2. No backpacks or bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper (excluding handbags) are permitted in the venue. 
  3. Patrons are not permitted to have prams in the Grandstand due to safety concerns. Please see a staff member to be advised as to where the pram can be left safely.
  4. Patrons are not permitted to bring in external food and drink. 
  5. Patrons are not permitted to bring in external alcohol. 
  6. Any alcohol purchased must be consumed at the venue and may not be taken outside of the licensed areas.   
  7. Ticketing and Security Staff reserve the right to search bags. 
  8. No musical instruments or artificial noise making devices (e.g. vuvuzelas, drums) are permitted in the venue.
  9. Pass-outs for the event will only be given with a valid reason (e.g. to attend a domestic game, to go to the car, to smoke outside, etc.). Each individual that leaves the venue will require a pass-out card to re-enter. 
  10. Children that require a pass-out to re-enter the event will only receive one with adult supervision and accompaniment. 
  11. The entire venue is a licensed venue. All children must be under adult supervision at all times.
  12. Children under 18 years old will not be allowed to enter without adult supervision. 

TICKET DISCLAIMERS:

  1. Grandstand Tickets guarantee a seat for the purchased game.
  2. Balcony/General Admission (BALC/GA) Tickets do not come with a guaranteed seat and are classified as standing room only. 
  3. All Balcony viewing areas are based on availability at the time (first come, first serve basis) and reservations or holds cannot be made.  
  4. No refunds will be given to patrons who are unable to find a seat.
  5. Once all seating and standing room areas are at capacity, the game will be declared a sell out and ticket sales will be stopped.

GENERAL DISCLAIMERS:

  1. During the player introductions there will be lasers, strobes, and lighting effects used. Anyone who may suffer adverse reactions to such lighting effects is forewarned and advised to leave the immediate area during this time.
  2. During the player introductions there will be a period of time where the lights are switched off and only ambient and surrounding lights remain on. It is advisable to remain seated or in the one spot during this time.
  3. Throughout the game there may be periods of loud noise. This may include music, court announcers, and general crowd cheering and yelling. Anyone who may suffer adverse reactions to, or is sensitive to such noises is forewarned and advised to take the appropriate precautions – earplugs etc.
  4. Some seats in Arena Joondalup have restricted or obscured viewing. The Joondalup Wolves are not responsible in the event the view from your purchased seat is partially blocked or obstructed.
