The Meneghello Industrial Group Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of 6’4 Perth Lynx player Kuir Gayo for the 2026 NBL1 West Season!
“It’s really great knowing that I have a very supportive new club. I’m very excited to see what happens in the upcoming season.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting the girls, creating a bunch of new relationships and playing for a massive new home crowd.”
An up-and-coming big, Kuir is currently signed with the Perth Lynx as a Development Player, allowing her to gain experience alongside some of the state’s best female players.
Before joining the Lynx, Gayo was signed to the Eastern Suns for the 2025 NBL1 West Season, playing 16 games throughout the season. Kuir is an immense talent and will bring a thrilling mixture of height, strength and talent to Arena Joondalup.
Women’s Head Coach Mitch Langford spoke on the excitement around signing Kuir for the upcoming season.
“We are delighted to welcome Kuir to the Wolfpack for the 2026 season. At just 18 years old and already showing promising size and potential in the frontcourt, Kuir’s inclusion reflects our commitment to nurturing emerging talent and adding depth to the roster.
“Known for her athleticism and work ethic, she brings youthful energy and a strong desire to grow within our system, both on and off the court. We’re excited to have her on board this year and contribute towards winning, while developing towards the future.”
