The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Chelsea Belcher for the 2025 NBL1 West Season.
Taking 2024 off to recentre and focus on other essential aspects of her life, the 5’8 guard returns to the Pack. She has been with the Joondalup Wolves since she was 10 years old as a Puma junior player.
With a career spanning both the SBL and the NBL1, Belcher has played 175 games for the Joondalup Wolves. Chelsea has been a consistent face for our Women’s Wolfpack over the last decade, scoring over 1350 points throughout her career.
Chelsea has had a decorated career with The Pack, captaining the Women’s Wolfpack team and being an integral player in the 2020 WCC season when the Joondalup Wolves female team won the championship. Chelsea finished the 2020 season averaging 11.23 points over the course of the 13-game season.
Chelsea is the definition of Bleeding Green, staying loyal to the Pack throughout her entire career. Wolfpack fans are excited to see Chelsea return for the 2025 NBL1 West Season and can’t wait to see her back on court.
On the signing, Women’s Head Coach Jesse Pence said, “We can’t wait to welcome back Chelsea Belcher into the Joondalup Wolves for 2025. She is a tremendous teammate and leader and her ability to stretch the court is invaluable. She’s had a great preseason and we look forward to having her blazing the nets at Arena Joondalup in the near future!”
When asked how it feels to Run with the Pack for the 2025 season, Chelsea said, “After taking a year off from basketball to focus on other aspects of my life, I’m excited to return to the court and rejoin the Wolfpack.
The time away has given me a fresh perspective and a renewed passion for the game. I look forward to contributing to the team and pushing myself to new heights this season.”
