The Meneghello Industrial Group City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of star shooter Caleb ‘CD’ Davis for the 2026 NBL1 West Season.
“Re-signing with the Wolfpack was a no-brainer for me. I love the group of guys we have, and we really feel we can build on what we have achieved over the last few years and make a serious push for a championship in 2026.
“Consistency and availability have been extremely important to me. Being available every game and being able to provide my teammates with confidence, knowing they’ll get hard-nosed defence, effort, energy and shooting from me every night.
“I can’t wait to get back in front of our diehard Wolfpack fans at Arena Joondalup. Week in, week out, they pack the stands and do everything they can to help us get over the line, and want to repay them with a championship this year.”
One of the best shooting big men in the NBL1 West, 2025 was another massive year for CD, as he averaged 14.3 points across his 23 appearances. Not limited to just shooting, Caleb is a dominant presence all around the court, also averaging 4.9 assists and 7.7 rebounds per game.
CD took up an instrumental leadership position in 2025, taking up the Vice-Captaincy to help lead The Pack alongside Captain Jordan Wellsteed. Caleb brings a high level of basketball knowledge, both on and off the court, with his high level of professionalism helping to drive the Wolves into another finals series last season.
Formerly playing for cross-town rivals, the Warwick Senators, as well as NBL club, the Adelaide 36ers, Caleb is a crucial signing for the Wolfpack coming into the 2026 season, and we can’t wait to see him back out on the court next year.
Head Coach Lucas Allen spoke on the value Caleb brings to the Wolfpack.
“Caleb has become the kind of veteran every franchise fights to have. With battle-tested experience across the NBL, college, and NBL1, he understands the work, growth, and pressure our guys face.
“He raises the standard and brings a presence that fuels the continuity and toughness required to win at this level.
“His elite IQ, commanding leadership, and knockdown shooting give us a serious edge as we build a roster which can complement, compete, and chase championships.”
