The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of international baller Jhazmin Joson for the 2025 NBL1 West Season.
A 5’7 Filipina National, Jhazmin was previously signed to the NBL1 West team, the Goldfield Giants, and played 34 games, averaging 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Described as a versatile shooting guard with a high basketball IQ, Jhazmin has extensive international experience and is highly valued for her ability to create opportunities for her teammates.
Joson was the leading scorer for the Gilas Pilipinas as they advanced to the quarterfinals during the 2024 FIBA Asia Cup in Singapore. Jhazmin averaged 6.0 points per game as the Filipina National team won five consecutive games throughout the tournament. Joson also played for the Filipina National team in the 2023 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup, averaging 5.6 points per game over 5 matches.
Before playing for the national team, Joson played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. She finished her collegiate career with an average of 10.57 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.71 assists per game.
Jhazmin is currently participating in her second consecutive FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup in Singapore, which is due to start on March 26th.
