The Meneghello Industrial Group Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of veteran Alecia Knowles for the 2026 NBL1 West Season.
“I’m incredibly excited to be back with the Wolfpack for 2026. I honestly can’t imagine playing anywhere else. We have the best fans in the league, and everyone at the club is amazing. The culture here is something special, and it means a lot to be part of a close-knit team where everyone is fully committed to supporting one another. The coaches approach also aligns strongly with my own values, and that connection played a big role in my decision to re-sign.
“After my first year at the Wolves, I’m really looking to build on my defensive game to fit in with our new team system. I’m also focused on continuing to settle into our fast-paced offensive style and playing with confidence, especially in a system that creates plenty of opportunities from the three-point line!
“Entering my 11th year in the league, I bring a lot of experience shaped by both the challenges and successes of past seasons. I’m excited to use that experience to add leadership, drive and a true team-first mentality to the group. Most of all, I can’t wait to get back on the court in front of the best fans in the league, while giving 110% to help the team succeed this season!”
Debuting for the Wolfpack last season, Alecia brings a high level of basketball experience to The Pack, having played nearly 200 games spanning a decade in the SBL and the NBL1. Able to play multiple positions across the court, Alecia is yet another valuable addition for the Wolfpack’s building Women’s roster.
Wolves fans will be excited to see Alecia take to the court for the Wolfpack again during the upcoming NBL1 West Season.
Women’s Head Coach Mitch Langford spoke on re-signing Alecia for the upcoming season.
“A proven leader and relentless competitor, Knowles brings 184 games of NBL1/SBL experience, toughness at both ends of the floor, and a winning mindset that lifts everyone around her. Her return is a massive boost as the Wolves lock in experience, grit, and heart for the season ahead.”
