The Meneghello Industrial Group City of Joondalup Wolves are proud to announce the re-signing of 2025 Wolfpack MVP and three-time All-NBL1 West First Team winner CJ Turnage, who will run with The Pack until 2027.
“I’m happy to be back and re-signed with the Wolves! I love the Wolfpack community and my teammates. Joondalup has turned into a home away from home for me.
“I’m very grateful to you all for taking me in. I’ve loved every minute of it. I’m looking forward to another great season!
“It’s a good feeling being able to be consistent throughout the years. I feel like I’ve improved each year. I have great support around me, which helps me improve each year. Next season will be even better!”
2025 was another mammoth year for CJ, averaging a career best 23.8 points per game across his 23 appearances. Alongside his prolific scoring ability, CJ also averaged 9.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game in 2025, marking another step up from the already lofty standards he set in 2024.
CJ’s hard work on the court led him to claim a host of awards, including being named in the All-NBL1 West First Team for the third time in the previous four years. Alongside this accolade, CJ was also named the Wolfpack NBL1 Men’s MVP for the second year in a row, as well as winning the Men’s Fan’s Choice MVP Award.
Men’s Head Coach Lucas Allen spoke on having CJ as part of The Pack for another two years.
“CJ recommitting to the Wolves is massive. We’re talking about a three-time All-Star whose entire journey in the West has been built with us.
Keeping a player of his calibre in our colours doesn’t just give us continuity – it cements our identity and ensures one of the league’s absolute best stays right here at home.
