WBA Staffing Update

Wolfpack Basketball
July 16, 2024

The WBA wishes to announce the following updates to our office staff. Brand & Marketing Coordinator Mason Anderson has resigned from his position to pursue new adventures in the freelance content creation, data and photography industry. Mason played at the WBA as a junior and will remain a part of the Wolves in the future assisting with game night NBL1 content and social media as well as continuing to dominate the D- Grade men’s competition on Monday nights.

Basketball Development Coordinator Christian Jurlina has also resigned from his position to return to full time study in the field of Autonomous Control & Remote Operations in the hopes of a career in the mining industry. With a young family Christian is now starting to focus on life after basketball and entering into a career that will ultimately provide for his family long after his basketball days are over. However, don’t stress Christian is not going anywhere as an NBL1 player just yet, and we look forward to seeing him hopefully win a championship with the Wolves sometime soon.

CEO Andrew Summerville said, “Both Mason and Christian have been a valuable part of the Wolfpack and they will continue to be, albeit no longer in a full time capacity. Both are at the point in their careers where they need to take the next step to ensure they can continue to grow, be challenged and progress up the ranks. Although it is sad to see them go, we wish them well and we will definitely still see them around the club – one will be taking photos of the other one playing”.

The WBA will now begin the process of replacing these roles.
