The Meneghello Industrial Group Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of sharpshooter Jorjah Smith for the 2026 NBL1 West Season.
“I’m excited to be back with the Wolfpack in 2026. There’s no better place to be!
“I worked hard last year to build my game and be consistent from everywhere on court, not just behind the arc. It feels exciting to come into a new program this year whilst leading and contributing wherever I can to help us be successful.
“I’m excited to build on 2025 and play finals basketball. I believe that improvement is always intentional, and I think our women’s program is evolving in such a positive way with some younger girls getting the opportunity to develop and contribute but also adding some elite players to help us achieve our goals in 2026.
“We are committed to working hard and leaving everything we’ve got on the floor. I think this year you will see a fun and exciting style of basketball from the women’s program and I look forward to seeing The Pack at our games this coming season.”
Jorjah etched her name into Wolfpack folklore in Game 12 of the 2025 NBL1 West Season against the Eastern Suns. With only seconds remaining on the clock and scores locked at 78 apiece, Jorjah received a pass from teammate Kurstyn Harden. Standing at half-court, Jorjah launched a sensational buzzer-beater, sinking the Suns and securing a Wolfpack victory.
After a 2024 that was interrupted by injury, Jorjah achieved a great level of consistency in 2025, enjoying her best season with the Wolfpack. Showcasing her immense talent, Jorjah averaged 12.67 points, 2.06 rebounds and 2.06 assists over her 18 games.
Jorjah brings a high level of NBL1 and international experience to The Pack, having previously played for championship-winning NBL1 Central side, the Norwood Flames, in 2023, where she averaged 13.7 points and 4 rebounds per game. Playing for the Oakland Wolves during the 2022/23 English WBBL season, Jorjah was named as top 5 in the League after averaging 18.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
Women’s Head Coach Mitch Langford spoke on the re-signing of Jorjah for the upcoming season.
“We’re excited to Welcome Jorjah back for her third year with the Wolves, coming back as an elite shooter that brings experience from around the world. Shooting it at an impressive 39% she’s a player that can’t be taken off the scout sheet by any team – If she is, she may let them hear about it! She has made a home here and we are excited to have her don the Wolves uniform for another NBL1 West season!”
Jorjah is our twelfth Women ’s player signing ahead of the 2026 NBL1 West Season. To follow all the upcoming NBL1 West and Wolves Action, head to the Wolfpack’s Facebook and Instagram Pages.
