The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Wolves Junior Beau Gardiner for the 2025 NBL1 West Season.
Beau was elevated to the NBL1 West Squad in 2024 and enjoyed a breakout season with the Wolfpack. Playing in 8 matches last season, Beau showed his ability to contribute defensively and offensively and impressed throughout his time on the court.
Beau excelled in 2023, with the 6’5 forward averaging 13.8 points per game as he played in the WABL Under 20’s. His consistency and determination earned him his maiden spot on the Wolfpack Men’s NBL1 team.
Wolves fans will be excited to see Beau grow as he gains more experience on the court during the 2025 NBL1 West season.
Speaking on the re-signing, Men’s Head Coach David Morrell said, “Beau is an extremely versatile guy at 6’5 that is growing in his shooting and wing/guard skills, but he’s also very physically strong so he’s able to play 4 and even small ball 5.
There were plenty of times in the D-League last year when he was the Draymond-type small-ball 5, and we went on runs due to the challenges it presented to the opposition. That versatility on both sides of the ball is high value, and we want to see where Beau can develop throughout the 2025 season.
On top of that, he is a reliable, hardworking, great teammate and is great for the culture of our NBL1 squad.”
When asked how it feels to continue with the Wolfpack for the 2025 season, Beau said, “I’m so grateful to be back with the Wolves for another season. I can’t wait to get back on the court in front of the Wolfpack fans, and I hope we can take it one step further this season and win a championship.”
