The Meneghello Industrial Group Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of 6’10 Kiwi forward Hayden Collier.
“I’m super excited to sign with the Wolves and be coming to Perth for the 2026 season. After chatting with Lucas I really like the style of basketball he has in mind for the team, and with a bunch of guys returning, I get the feeling they have a good core.
“I want to just bring energy in general, whether I’m on the floor or the bench. I’m a strong believer in getting energy from the people around you, so hopefully I can provide that too. Fan’s can hopefully except from dunks and three’s from me this coming season!”
Hayden joins The Pack after spending his 2025 playing in the NBL New Zealand for the Southland Sharks. The 6’10 big man is described as a hard worker with a great approach to the game.
Before joining the Sharks, Hayden spent seven years in North America. Finishing his final two years of high school in Wyoming, before spending the next five years playing college basketball for the University of Regina. In his final season for Regina, Collier made 13 appearances and averaged 8.7 points, 8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
Men’s Head Coach Lucas Allen spoke on the signing of Hayden ahead of the NBL1 West Season.
“We’re pumped to bring Hayden into the Wolfpack. He gives us instant front-court punch. He has genuine size, provides us with roster versatility and is a great fit for what we need. Hayden’s hungry to learn and hungry to compete, and that’s exactly the DNA we want in this program.
“His three-point range keeps growing, he rebounds, he protects the rim, and he moves the ball like a true teammate. He fits out style, our pace and our mentality. We’re excited to unleash him this season.”
Hayden is our ninth Men’s player signed ahead of the 2026 NBL1 West Season. To secure your seats and watch Hayden take to the court, purchase your membership here.
