The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Gabe Chadinha for the 2025 NBL1 West Season.
2024 marked Gabe’s most consistent season to date. The athletic guard stepped up and played 24 games, the most he has ever played in an NBL1 season. Showcasing his improvement on the court, he averaged 4 points, 1 assist, and 3.17 rebounds per game.
Throughout his time with the Wolfpack, Gabe has shown his desire to improve his game every season, using his speed to attack the rim and cause problems for the opposition defence. Prior to the 2024 season, Chadinha also enjoyed a breakout 2023, playing in 16 games and being awarded Most Improved by his NBL1 Coaches.
Wolfpack fans can look forward to seeing Gabe develop even further during the 2025 NBL1 West Season.
Speaking on the re-signing, Men’s Head Coach David Morrell said, “We are very happy to bring Gabe back into the fold and continue being a part of his development and basketball journey.
He is coming off a season in which he had a career-high in minutes per game and shot 45% from 3. He adds energy, rebounding, and hustle to the game every time he touches the floor in games or practices. Gabe is competitive and continues to develop.
I’m excited to see what he will bring to the team in 2025.”
When asked how it feels to continue with the Wolfpack for the 2025 season, Gabe said, “I’m excited to re-sign with the Wolfpack for this season, as we have the most dedicated fans and players in the league.
The club’s professionalism and culture are unparalleled, which makes me eager to keep working hard and improving my game.
I can’t wait for the season to start.”
