The WBA would like to congratulate Cooper Lee on winning the Referee of the Month for May.
Cooper has really excelled this month with his ability to position himself into a spot to see the gap between the offence and defence so he can recognise any illegal contact. Cooper has also begun to officiate on a Friday night where he is continuing to learn while trying to build his knowledge base so he can understand the game he loves to officiate.
Cooper has always brought an enthusiastic attitude when he shows up to referee his games even when it is at 8:00am on a Saturday morning. The WBA look forward to seeing Cooper progress in the coming years to see where his career takes him.
