WBA STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT

The WBA is pleased to announce the following new additions to our staff.

After some personnel changes in late 2024 we are excited to announce the following staff have joined our team.

Ash Litterick has commenced in the role of Business Manager. Many of you may know Ash from his time as an NBL1 player, however Ash brings with him significant experience in competition management, community sport, facilities management and local government.

Ash has most recently worked at UWA in their Sports department as a Sports Officer where he ran sport competitions for affiliated clubs in AFL, soccer, basketball and netball.

Prior to UWA Ash has been employed at Warwick Stadium as Court Coordinator and Customer Servicer Officer. Ash also has experience working in local government as a Sports Program Officer for both the Town of Victoria Park and the City of Sterling.

Ash has replaced General Manager Stephen De Wet who took up a role with the City of Joondalup.

The second new addition to our team is Tyson Lumbaca as Competitions & Programs Manager. Tyson has served as Competitions Manager at the Eastern Suns since 2022. Prior to that he was also Eastern Suns Referee Manager. Tyson has been an intern with former Wildcat Damian Martin’s Sports Marketing firm – Promondo Basketball.

Tyson is experienced in the competition management of Domestic basketball, WABL and also NBL1. As a former referee, and WABL player, Tyson brings with him a vast level of experience in our specific industry.

The final addition is new Marketing & Content Coordinator, Dylan Gane. Dylan joins the WBA after spending time as Coordinator of Marketing and Communications at Athletics West. Dylan’s other experiences include Photographer for Kapture Photography, Perth Football League Photographer as well as an intern for the Perth Scorchers BBL team.

Dylan has also served as Music Video Director for Perth based musicians. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications, majoring in Journalism and Photomedia.

Dylan replaces Mason Anderson who started a freelance digital career.
